The Hidden Lane Gallery opened on Argyle Street in November 2009 and has put on exhibitions by local artists such as Alasdair Gray, Hilda Goldwag, Claire Mulholland and Lorcan Vallely, plus African art and artefacts and the work of Haitian artist Franketienne. The Gallery has now moved location into the Hidden Lane and from 2022 will be the permanent home of the beautiful photographic work from the 1920s and 1930s by Margaret Watkins .
